In the midst of this unprecedented pandemic, this show of force promises to bring a mix of relief, consternation, reflection and distraction concerning these complex times of uncertainty. [{"@context":"//schema.org","@type":"Event","name":"Responsible Conduct of Research Development Series: Designing your Research, Part 2","description":"Join Office of Research professional staff and guest speakers as they share valuable information to support your efforts in conducting research at our University in a responsible fashion. \n\nThe Office of Research will deliver the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Development Series* coursework virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-1PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 15th through October 8th. This is a unique opportunity for students, postdocs, and staff receiving support from NSF and NIH grants to complete the required training. Ordinarily, the RCR training requires in-person attendance, however the NIH is now permitting this to be done on-line.\n\n\u201cNIH will allow for special circumstances for trainings and instruction that typically require in-person attendance, such as training in the responsible conduct of research (NIH GPS 11.3.3.5). Training can be completed online during this declared public health emergency.
